The School Planning team uses data, forecasts, and community feedback to identify policy, enrollment, and programming opportunities aligned with DCPS goals. This includes the development of annual enrollment projections for all schools and analysis related to changes to existing schools or to new schools. The School Planning team develops recommendations, ushers them through appropriate approval processes and, once approved, conducts public engagement and provides guidance to other teams to implement and track progress.
